Tri Geometrica will be running a concrete planter casting workshop at Harbour Lane in South Queensferry on the 10th & 17th of August.
In this workshop, which takes place over two evenings, you will be taken through the steps of creating your own set of three geometric concrete planters.
The first evening will involve cutting, folding and constructing to create your set of 3D concrete molds. These will be filled with hand mixed concrete and will require a couple of days to cure.
On the second evening you will de-mould your creations. The finishing touches will be applied such as hand sanding, wax sealing, buffing and decorating with metallic spray paints. The final stage is planting up a cacti in each of your new geometric concrete planters ready to take home!
The process can be a little messy and dusty at times so please make sure you bring an old top for both evenings. If you are able to bring a box/bag on the second night this will allow you take your planters home without the risk of being pricked by a cactus!
Included in the price:-
- Approximately 4.5 hours of workshop time and all the materials and equipment required
- Three geometric pots for you to take away
- A cacti for each of your pots
